What is a “Special Edition” Book? The book manuscript that is sent to a publishing house goes through many transformations before it reaches a store self.
- 1st… The format is shrunk from 8½” x 11” to 6” x 9”. The text size could be enlarged. The space between lines can be increased. White-space is added to improve the visual appearance. A 50-page manuscript could become a 150 to 200 page store book.
- 2nd… The process from manuscript to book store may take 3 years or more.
- 3rd… During the 3-year wait, the book price will probably change (↑).
Every Special Edition booked shipped will be personally signed by the author. Perhaps one day it will be a collector’s item.
